Application of YX3000 Series Frequency Inverter on Cold Forging Machines

I. Overview    

Cold forging machine is a stamping processing machine of mechanical manufacturing. When the raw material is not changed (mainly softening or hardening, etc.), the material is formed into the required shape (generally speaking, it is formed into a "step").


A pair of bevel gears is installed at one end of the crankshaft, a cam device is installed on the driven bevel gear shaft, and a scissor slider is vertically installed on the roller shaft of the driven roller of the cam device. The new model addresses the shortcomings of the prior art, and the running friction coefficient and impact force between the components of the feeding and cutting mechanism are small, so that the equipment runs smoothly, effectively reduces the running noise, and greatly improves the product quality and productivity.


The steel used to manufacture fasteners and connectors (such as bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, etc.) by cold heading processing is called cold heading steel, commonly known as riveting steel. The quenched and tempered alloy steel, low-temperature tempered alloy structural steel, low-carbon low-alloy high-strength steel, ferrite-martensitic dual-phase steel, etc are commonly used. Cold heading is formed by metal plastic at room temperature. The use of cold heading technology to manufacture fasteners not only has high efficiency, good quality, but also saves materials and low cost. However, the cold heading process has higher requirements for the quality of raw materials.


Using cold-drawn copper, aluminum wire, iron wire and other automatic cold heading, it is a special equipment for producing pull-out aluminum rivets and semi-hollow iron rivets. The whole structure of this machine is automatically carried out from straightening, material selection, secondary cutting and forming to blanking. It has the advantages of stable forming standard and various processing types.
